Mutual Gratitude

You have a way of letting me talk about my experience without judgment. I find that every time I face a challenging situation and talk about it with you during a session, it automatically becomes less of a challenge. — Annie Bourgault

Let Your Child Lead the Way

To some fun and not-so-serious play!

It is very easy to get caught up in the roles we take on as parents: housekeeper, cook (or shall I say chef?), listener, referee, problem solver, teacher, provider… the list is really endless.

There is another list, one that our children can lead us to, when we let them. This list includes the roles of: squeeze-lemonade-out-of-lemons expert, creative play master, story teller, kitchen mess maker, relax-on-the-lawn lover, silliness guru, idea generator, hug and kiss machine… and of course, this list is also endless.

When your child leads you somewhere today, toss around the idea of combining the roles you play. They don’t have to be separate! You really can have your cake and eat it, too. (Just ask your kids… chances are they’ll agree ;o)

Posts at Innate Wholeness are shared with the intention of creating a shift in awareness. Please take what speaks to you and leave the rest. Thanks!
